The journalist guy should learn how to hold the string reel (charkha). Where was he when he was young??? Someone should teach him properly!! Nice kites though! I wish I had one

is Al Jazeera stationed in palestine or Lebanon, i notice alot of white or brownish commentators have an english accent of some kind.. i find that really cool but i know Al Jazeera is a neutral none biased news network. just wondering if it is the main news source for the middle east. on a sub continent level. i know i sound funny when i ask and i know taht each country in the middle east have hundreds of their own networks.

    Taliban

Old man take multiple women as wive (even under age, see movie Osama) is OK.

Kids (or adults) flying kite having clean family fun is NOT OK.

Play music and dance (except men doing saw dance or some sort) is NOT OK.

Woman go to school (suppressing women, knowledge is power) is NOT OK.

What they are good at is terrorize the powerless, picking disrespect and destroy others cultures and values.

afghan pride i still make kites but not better as they do i wanna go back to my hometown again

its is banned in Pakistan too and is allowed for a short period in Lahore. cause the string of the kite is covered with glass or chemical that makes it sharp and hence allows flyers to cut others kites. But the same thread cause many motorcycle riders and infants deaths as it cuts through the throat in a single swing. So a lot of fun + a lot of morning in the kite season. I would prefer safety over fun.
