I have to write a literary analysis paper for homework and have to write about how the freudian theory is shown in the book, The Kite Runner. I am really stuck and any help is appreciated. Thank you!

The freudian theory is kind of long- the guy wrote a lot of books.

I guess you could say Amir exhibits the oedipus complex, in that while he admires Baba, he also shows resentment towards him (quote) showing an 'alliance' between them that is similar to the one described in Freud's theory whereby the son will bond closely to his father at some age or other, because he fears castration. And (Amir's wife, can't remember her name) is like the mother he never had, showing both the oedipus complex, and also the continuity hypothesis mentioned (though I don't think originating in) Freud's work.

The Western world is shielded from many of the horrors which occurred in Afghanistan during the time in which was set. Many instances, such as Hassan's rape, the scenes which show a woman being stoned to death and the severity of the abuse which causes Sohrab to make a suicide attempt, among others, are events that are quite alien to Western civilisation. Whilst we may hear of such events, we do not like to dwell on them for their awfulness, yet 'The Kite Runner' explains them clearly which opens a western reader's eyes to such catatrophic events.

Besides depowering you can even increase or decrease the power of your kite while you would be kitesurfing.

The inflatable kites fall into many categories which can be low, medium or high lines of ratio. The higher aspect ratios are recommended for the experienced and advanced users.

Kitesurfing can be great fun but you should make the right decision while purchasing the kite for yourself.

How do you make a Kite with 1 sheet of Tissue Paper & straws?
I want to make a Triangular Kite with tissue paper & kites for pre-school children.

You want to mimic a "fighting" kite style. Cut a Tissue 2 inches over the size you want cut a triangle with a scallop or bird tailed bottom edge. Then place a straw on each side of the triangle so they touch on the top then place a line of glue and wrap the tissue edge over the straws. Finally you will need to cut the edge of a straw fit to be a "crossbar" (like an Icee Straw Spoon) and glue 1/3 the way down the triangle. Let dry then using light kite thread and tie to the cross bar. I would keep the string below 5 yards since tissue is fragile and can easily tear in the wind but these will fly with very little breeze. Hope this is clear enough. Good Luck!
