- Classic diamond kite design with modern materials and technology
- Quick and easy to assemble
- Packs up tiny for easy travel
- Three beautiful fractal-based designs
- Ready to fly with a colorful 2-part matching tail, flying line, winder and compact travel case
Our modern twist on the classic diamond kite. The Stowaway Diamond is 37” tall, but folds into a convenient package that’s just over a foot long. Perfect for backpack, briefcase, or that spur-of-the-moment getaway to the great outdoors. Its brilliant fractal-based geometric patterns are dye-sublimated onto colorfast ripstop polyester to create a spectacular piece of flying art that’ll last for years. To assemble, just pull it out of the case and let the rods spring into their connectors; the spars are connected by bungee cord just like a tent pole so there’s nothing to lose and no way to assemble it backwards. The lightweight fiberglass frame and ripstop polyester sail give this kite a wide wind range. Comes complete with everything you need including kite, 200’ of Dacron flying line, line winder and travel case.

I just love this kite – it travels with me everywhere I go. It’s no bigger than a folding umbrella so it’s easy to tuck into my backback. And it doesn’t weigh a thing so I don’t mind taking on long hikes or bike treks. From its little case it unfolds into a full-sized diamond with a super-long tail, and in a bit of wind it pops right up into the sky as if it were a balloon.
The only thing I don’t like is with the handle the line set comes on. It’s a clever little line-winder and it fits in the bag but it takes up a while to wind up the string. A round winder is easier to use but it’s not as compact.
For portability and sheer bang for the buck, I think this is the perfect kite.

Kite assembly was very easy.
Flying the kite was very easy with no experience even by 5 years old (with some help)
Kite fits into a small carrying pack.
Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that packing it back is very hard and it is only a matter of time before it breaks.
